Just a few years ago, when it came to finding your Marine Parts including Canvas Boat Covers, you had two choices: Have a local canvas shop create a custom cover or buy a universal-fit cover. Today, you actually have a third choice. A number of Internet sites and other retailers offer ready-made covers for many of the latest popular boat models. With the advent of new choices, Trailer BoatsĀ decided to explore a bit and determine the advantages and disadvantages of each type of cover. What we found was pretty educational.

NMMA Sues EPA Over E15 Fuel

Lawsuit seeks to block E15

The National Marine Manufacturers Association and several other groups today filed suit in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit challenging an Oct. 13 decision by the Environmental Protection Agency to partially approve E15 for a subset of on-highway motor vehicles.

Boat Racing Stadium Being Built

Lucas Oil is constructing a new marine stadium in Wheatland, Mo., adjacent to its 3/8-mile clay track, called “The Diamond of Dirt Tracks.”

Roughly rectangular, it is 3,800 feet long, 400 feet wide and 10 feet deep. When it is filled with more than 11 million gallons of water, it will stage boat drag racingĀ competitions, beginning next July.
